Digital strategy and portal development
Pfizer Animal Health engaged Orchard to go on a journey with them. The goal was to create one of Australia’s leading dog health portals. We wanted to allow dog lovers to find and share information, connect to other pet owners and provide fair balanced education around their dog’s health and wellbeing.
The initial engagement was the strategic development to formulate the best mix of content, functionality and Information Architecture of the site to ensure we had a compelling proposition. Outside of premium content, we developed functionality like ‘find the perfect breed for you’, connect to a vet and a dog friendly places locator with thousands of locations for you and your dog to play and eat.
Along the journey, we’ve also partnered Pfizer Animal Health to expand their digital footprint at the right speed and appropriate time. There is now a PawClub Twitter page, Youtube channel and Facebook destination, all used in different and integrated ways with the PawClub portal itself. One year later, PawClub has over 70,000 opt-in users and have a very effective digital strategy across multiple digital touch points for Pfizer Animal Health.
